Science: Our teacher was absent so we had a free class. Maths: Mr Enright finished Module 4. Music: We sang ‘Jailhouse Rock’. Science: Our teacher was absent so we had a free class. English: Ms Hough brought us to the computer room and we researched the storyline of ‘The Help’.

Tutor: Ms Murtagh gave us our locker numbers and we tried to open them. We also went through what we would be doing in the next few weeks.
Home Economics x2: We cooked pancakes. Religion: We had a ‘walking debate’. Irish: We answered questions about ‘Mo cheantar’. Enterprise: Ms Hayes gave us time to brainstorm ideas for our Enterprise projects. English: We watched another clip about the All Ireland Final. We answered four questions based on the clip. Science x2: Our teacher was absent so we had a free class. Music: Ms Coyle taught us about ‘do re mi fa so la ti do’. She also taught us how to write music.
English: Ms Hough showed us two clips in which we had to answer four questions on each of these clips. Religion: Our teacher was absent so we had a free class. Maths: Mr Enright moved onto Module 4. Religion: Our teacher was absent so we had a free class. Business: Ms Hayes gave us sheets about entrepreneurs and enterprise. I.T.: Mr Molamphy showed us how to how to set up our Weebly accounts. European Studies: Ms O’Callaghan asked us to write down ten words that come to our mind when we hear ‘EU’. We then shared our answers with the class. Irish: We answered some questions that would be needed to get our ‘Fáinne’ at the end of the year. Tutor: Angela Didek.
Constructions: Angela Didek. Drama: Mr Coughlan brought us down to the hall where we played different games. Guidance: We went to room V and made hats with Suzie Mahony. Art x2: Ms Lawne brought us down to the castle gardens where we drew different leaves, plants and flowers. Constructions: Mr Fallon gave us sheets which showed us how to make a memo box using Solid works. P.E. x2: Ms Barry brought us to the computer room to finish off our BT Young Scientist projects.
Enterprise Ms Hayes gave us some sheets based on the mini company competition that we would be entering. It included the rules, ideas, etc. Drama: Mr Coughlan put us into groups of three. In these groups, we acted out a scene from ‘Philadelphia, here I come’. French: We continued with our sheets that Ms Kineen gave us the previous day. Drama: Mr Coughlan asked us to act out different people from ‘Philadelphia, here I come’. I was given the part of Madge for the school show in December. Music: We listened to some songs from Mamma Mia. Maths: Mr Enright moved onto Module 3. Irish: We brainstormed and wrote about Delphi. Tutor: Mrs Murtagh spoke to us about Delphi and told us what we would need to bring.

French: We went down to the church for our school mass. Art: We went down to the church for our school mass. Artx2: We helped Ms Lawn put up paintings around the school for the Shorelines Art Festival. Constructions: Our teacher was absent so we had a free class. P.E.x2: We went to the computer room and continued with our BT Young Scientist applications.
Enterprise: Ms Hayes recapped what we had done the last day and continued with the sheets she gave us the last day. Drama: Mr Coughlan explained to us what we would be doing for the show in December. He also explained what would be involved in completing the Gaisce award. French: Ms Kineen gave us a booklet which contained a chapter from a French book. She explained the first few pages if it to us. Drama: Mr. Coughlan divided us into groups of three. We acted out a scene from ‘Philadelphia, here I come’. Music: Ms Coyle explained to us about the rhythm of music. Maths: Mr Enright let us work on our BT Young Scientist projects. Irish: Our teacher gave us questions to answer on the film ‘Yu Ming’. Irish: We continued analysing ‘Clare sa Spéir’.
Science: We did our one-page proposals for the BT Young Scientist. Maths: Mr Enright continued with Module 2 Music: We sang songs from Greece. Science: We continued with our one-page proposals for the BT Young Scientist. English: Our teacher was absent so we had a free class. Music: We sang songs from Greece.
English: We looked over De Valera’s speech. Religion: We introduced ourselves. Maths: Mr Enright continued with Module 2. Religion: We had a debate about refuges in Ireland. Business: Ms Hayes brought us to the computer room. I.T.: Mr Molamphy explained to us about the E-Portfolio. European Studies: Ms O’Callaghan showed us some competitions that we could enter. Irish: We went to the hall to receive our Junior Cert results. Tutor: We were told how to write up our portfolios.
