On September 6th and 7th, Jeff Allen and Agata Hidalgo visited our school. Jeff started the day with explaining 'The Cycle of Change', and the five steps to leading a healthy life- Diet, Exercise, Friends and Family, Work, Relaxation and Sleep. He then explained the different activities that we would be doing, which were called "The Hunter Games”. These games consisted of tug of war, eliminator, knockout (completed the first day), shuttle run, group relay, relay race and grand finale (completed the second day). After each activity, Agata taught us about nutrition ad mindfulness. Jeff also told us about his road to where he is now. At the end of The Hunter Games, a trophy was awarded to the winning team. Three medals were then given to the three students who he thought that worked hard and never gave up. I really enjoyed the Hunter Games and also the different aspects of nutrition that Agata taught to us.
Reflection:
The most important thing that I learned was never to give up. Jeff encouraged each and every one of us as we tried to complete all activities in The Hunter Games. Agata also taught me a lot. She taught me about how to maintain a healthy diet and M.S.G. I thoroughly enjoyed the Healthy Lifestyle Programme.
